Julie Tallman

Camp Director

Julie has a ME.d in English Education, volunteers as the District Commissioner for the Forget Me Not Pony Club, and has over 20 years of experience working with young people in a variety of settings. She has taught English in public and private schools, was the Equestrian Director at the New Hampton School, and has worked as a camp instructor at a number of camps, most recently at the Junior Horsemanship Clinic at Green Mountain Horse Association. It is her goal to help her students explore challenges, while building confidence and finding joy.

Kendra Waldo

Head Riding Coach

Kendra has a B.S. in Equine Studies from Post University concentrating in coaching, is the Barn Manager for Abenaki Farm and Stables, and volunteers for the Forget Me Not Pony Club as a coach and Treasurer. She has over 8 years of experience managing horse farms, and coaching people of all ages. Her favorite thing about coaching is watching her students overcome challenges. Her riding goal for this year is to enjoy both of her horses by going for some adventures off property.

Amelia Avery

Assistant Coach

Amelia started riding at the age of two and has never looked back. She is an accomplished member of the United States Pony Club, holding a National HB Certification for Horse Management and a C2 Certification for Riding. It is her desire to share her passion for horses and eventually have a career where she can work with people and equines together as a physical therapist.
